Deposits

Deposits are considered partial payment towards a particular kitten/cat that purchaser has chosen and are non-refundable. The purpose of the partial payment is to insure the Buyer's serious intent to purchase the described kitten/cat. This partial payment is NOT refundable should the Buyer, for any reason, change his/her mind about purchasing the kitten/cat. A breech of contract, either verbal, written, or through neglect or avoidance to communicate, on the Buyer's part, can jeopardize the chance of finding the kitten/cat a new home as quickly as possible.

Partial Payments to hold a desired kitten are $300 for pets & $500 for breeder or show potentials. If, for any reason, we are unable to provide you with the specific kitten you desire, you may transfer the partial payment to another kitten. Sorry, but we will NOT hold a kitten without a contract & partial payment. Been there, done that.

Pricing

Each Bengal is individually evaluated and priced according to the standard of perfection. Pets can vary from $750-$1,500, depending on color, pattern/markings, pelt clarity and quality. Top quality/show alters at the high end-1,200-$1,500. The average pet kitten costs about $900 and this includes spay/neuter surgery. Breeders range from $1,500-$2,500. Top show prospects $2,500-$3,500. Occasionally we have retired adults to offer at very, reasonable prices.

We believe in responsible pet ownership and breeding, which is why we are advocates of early spay/neuter programs and preventing unwanted births. We have been active in breed rescue for many years & have learned many things. The most important one is "If you are not part of the solution--You are part of the problem!"

We do not recommend "a cheap or bargain kitten"...you get what you pay for. There are simply many factors and expenses that go into "doing it right". If one is going thru the procedure of screening, paying their dues, quality food, litter, vet care, etc, it adds up & is expensive! At least part of these expenses are shouldered by the purchaser in the purchasing fee. The responsible breeder "foots the rest of the bills", including many, many hours of cleaning, training and socializing. One can either pay up front for a QUALITY Bengal and be pleased with a wonderful companion, or they can pay "after the fact" with an unhealthy or unstable pet, that will often cost them a lot of money during the cat's lifetime. Don't be fooled by cheap imitations. To some, a cat is just a cat. So is a car, just a car? Would you rather have a Volkswagen Rabbit or a Porsche?

QUALITY is PRICELESS.

Shipping

We prefer to meet people in person and encourage them to visit us, but realize that is not always feasible. We do ship within the continental US and Canada at purchaser's expense. Currently it costs about $300 to ship a kitten, but as fuel increases so, unfortunately, will the price. The fee includes a health certificate from the vet, an airline approved shipping kennel and appropriate bedding for traveling, as allowed. Feel free to contact us for a shipping quote.
