Several years ago, I was looking to purchase something extraordinary for my better half for Valentine's Day. After researching for months, we decided on a Bengal. I was lucky enough to find a Bengal breeder within a days drive. I surprised her by taking her to the breeder's home & WOW what nice cats. We finally ended up picking out three young adults, one for her and two for me, as the breeder was retiring and moving. That was the beginning of our growing infatuation of Bengals.
From those first few pets our awe of the breed grew. We began to seriously study Bengal lines, breeders and patterns. She is wonderful with genetics and pedigrees and helps me with those aspects. Then we began adding show quality cats to our homes. Now we are to the point where we are breeding to bring the Bengal to a higher level. I know what I like & she helps me achieve it, so we make a good team.
We share cats that will enhance both our in home catteries. We both have a background in animal husbandry, science and medicine, which helps in this hobby. My favorite colors and patterns are: the ALC, ALC pattern, F series and silvers. Her tastes compliment and also differ from mine, so between us we have a variety of color & pattern to offer.
What had started out as a one of kind Valentine's gift, has turned into a "gift of a lifetime" that we can both share, as we strive to improve the breed with our own cats.
We are currently feeding Raw Diet to our cats daily with Royal Canin kitten dry food available 24 x 7 as our work hours aren't "regular".
**Kittens that we are not keeping will be fed a diet of Royal Canin dry kitten food and Fancy Feast canned wet food, as we do not wish to start them on raw diet and then they have to switch when going to a new home.**
